Welcome to the website for all things related to our West Virginia - Western Maryland Synod Youth participating in the 2024 ELCA Youth Gathering in New Orleans!
This is a space for youth, congregational leaders, and parents from the WV-WMD Synod to learn more about the 2024 ELCA Youth Gathering and opportunities to prepare and connect before and during this triennial event. Congregational leaders are also encouraged to join the closed Facebook group "WV-WMD Synod 2024 ELCA Youth Gathering" where you can connect and brainstorm with other leaders from the Synod as we make plans.
This website will focus on the specific information related to our Synod's youth and congregations as well as share information and updates from the main ELCA Youth Gathering website for your attention when possible, but does not have all of the many resources available there. For additional questions, check out the main ELCA Youth Gathering website, and if that doesn't answer your question, talk to our Synod Champion (a fancy way of saying our Synod's Youth Gathering point person), Courtney Erzkus (chaplain from the Lutheran Campus Ministry at West Virginia University) at chaplain @lutheranmountaineer.org (take away the space).
